The full story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation is that God our Father loves us.  He loves us with a love that is far superior to anything we have ever known or experienced.  He loves to the uttermost.  This should be our first take-away to simply outlining any biblical text.  He made us, He made this world, He has been at work to save His people.  He saved them in the past through faith in His Word and the fulfillment of their faith in the person of Jesus, the Lamb of God, who eliminated the burden of sin for Old Testament believers.  He saves us still through faith in His Word and for New Testament believers following Jesus through an empowering relationship with His Holy Spirit against our sin nature and present darkness.  He will save us through the fulfillment of His ultimate return and reign.  Our response of love is only sufficient when empowered by the Holy Spirit and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives.  If you feel guilty for not loving Him back, your attempts will always fall short and will always leave you with your guilt, unless you love Him with the love that He loves you.  You can only do that if you come to Him and accept Him in your heart(trading your desires for His), mind(acknowledge His Word as true), and soul(obeying and walking in Him in your current moment).  Say goodbye to your guilt, your sin has been paid in full.  Say hello to an eternity of walking with God in a loving relationship of Grace, Faith, and Hope under the banner of His love.  If you doubt that God love you, look at The Cross where Jesus the Christ died to take your place and freely gave you the opportunity to be in the family of God.
